Sarah Boyd is a renowned television director, celebrated for her outstanding work on a multitude of critically-acclaimed shows, including The Boys, This Is Us, 9-1-1, Apple TV's For All Mankind, and Marvel's Jessica Jones. Her exceptional direction of The Boys, specifically the episode titled The Bloody Doors Off, earned a spot on Variety's top 6 list of 2021 Emmy predictions for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
Prior to transitioning into directing, Boyd garnered recognition for her editing skills, earning two Emmy nominations and an ACE Eddie nomination for her work on the hit television show LOST. She spent many years collaborating with esteemed producer Carton Cuse, who is credited with projects such as Bates Motel, Jack Ryan, Colony, and The Strain, as well as director Rod Lurie, who has worked on films like Straw Dogs, Nothing But The Truth, and Resurrecting the Champ, as well as the pilot for Commander-in-Chief, starring Geena Davis and Donald Sutherland.
