Sarah's journey began in the Midwest, where she was raised with a strong sense of roots and a deep connection to her heritage. However, the allure of the West Coast was too great to resist, and she soon found herself making the bold decision to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Within the first year of her arrival, Sarah landed a breakout role in the iconic film Austin Powers, where she had the opportunity to pay homage to her idol, the legendary Goldie Hawn, by portraying her character from the classic TV show Laugh In. This experience solidified her conviction that following her heart and intuition was the key to living a life of purpose and fulfillment.
As she continued to make a name for herself in the competitive world of Hollywood, Sarah landed a record deal with Disney's Hollywood Records and appeared in numerous films and television shows, including the critically acclaimed series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and CSI:NY.
Despite her many accomplishments, Sarah's heart remained rooted in her personal life, and she eventually followed her husband, Jason Podollan, a former NHL player, to British Columbia, Canada, where they started a family and built a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep connection to the great outdoors.
As a devoted mother to their three young sons, Sarah's days are filled with the joys of hockey, family bonding, and giving back to her community. She is a true embodiment of the phrase "wearing her heart on her sleeve," always putting the needs of others before her own and living a life of authenticity and purpose.
As an entrepreneur, performer, and devoted wife and mother, Sarah is the ultimate multitasker, and her enthusiasm for life is infectious. She is thrilled to see the film and television industry thriving in Canada and is grateful for the opportunities she has had to grow and evolve as an artist and a person.
In her own words, Sarah says, "Pinch me, life is good."
