Sarah DeSouza-Coelho, a Guyanese-Canadian actor, writer, and creator, has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry from her Toronto base. With a solid foundation in theatre, having attended York University's renowned program, Sarah took charge of her career by training with esteemed coaches and securing a reputable agent. This strategic move enabled her to land roles in acclaimed series such as "Haphead" and "Tinder the Web Series", as well as feature films like "Moving Boxes" and "Brotherhood".
Her impressive resume has recently been bolstered by appearances in six national commercials, culminating in a Movie of the Week on the Lifetime Network in the USA, which premiered at the end of 2023. Not content to rest on her laurels, Sarah has written, produced, and starred in her own Web Series pilot, "Back to One", and is currently developing a feature film and a 30-minute pilot that celebrates the complexities of her Indo-Caribbean heritage.
As a champion of diversity in the industry, Sarah aims to serve as a positive role model for young females in her community, both on and off screen, and hopes her work will inspire and empower them to pursue their passions.
