Indonesian-born Savira Windyani, a classically trained actress based in Los Angeles, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, particularly for her principal role as 'Lexx' in the feature film debut, 'Unfriended: Dark Web', released in 2018 by BH Tilt and Bazelev Productions.
Before embarking on her acting journey, Savira's passion for performance was nurtured through her involvement in a choir at Cempaka International School in Malaysia, where she performed at various prestigious events, including for the Prime Minister of Malaysia, UN conventions, the Royal Family of Malaysia, and several charities. This exposure led to her professional theater debut at the age of 10, playing one of the King's princesses in 'The King and I' at Broadway Asia.
Savira's love for acting continued to grow as she acted in various musical theater productions at school, eventually leading her to take a leap of faith and move to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she received her classical training on a partial scholarship for two years.
Following her graduation play, 'Amazing Grace' by Michael Cristofer, in which she played the role of 'Vivian', Savira was scouted by theatrical representation and landed a principal role in her feature film debut, 'Unfriended: Dark Web', which received a worldwide theatrical release in 2018.
Aside from acting, Savira is a skilled martial artist, studying Japanese Ju Jitsu under Vince Cecere. She has also ventured into the world of action, co-writing and choreographing an action short film with her partner, Michael S. Garcia, which gained recognition in several film festivals, including the Mammoth Film Festival and the Artemis Women In Action Film Festival, where they won 'Best Fight Choreography' in 2020.
Throughout her short but illustrious career, Savira has appeared in several award-winning short films, TV movies, commercials, and won the Leah-Daniels Butler Monologue Challenge during the early stages of the pandemic. Next, she will be seen in the Netflix limited series 'Boo, Bitch' alongside Lana Condor.
