Scarlett Pomers began her acting career at the tender age of three, landing a role in the Michael Jackson music video "Heal the World". This early start paved the way for a prolific career, with appearances in over 40 commercials and guest roles in numerous television shows, including Providence (1999),Judging Amy (1999),Touched by an Angel (1994),and many others.
At just five years old, Scarlett landed her first feature film role as Suzi Barrett in The Baby-Sitters Club (1995),followed by a string of films, including Mighty Joe Young (1998),Slappy and the Stinkers (1998),Geppetto (2000),and the Julia Roberts hit, Erin Brockovich (2000).
Throughout her career, Scarlett has received widespread recognition for her outstanding performances, taking home five Young Artist Awards. Her 1999 award for "Best Supporting Young Actress in a Drama Series" for her role in Star Trek: Voyager (1995) remains a particular highlight.
Scarlett's passion for animals is evident, and she enjoys horseback-riding, reading, drawing, and practicing yoga. She has also taken up snow-skiing and surfing, skills she honed on commercial shoots in New Zealand and Australia, respectively, while filming for the Disney movie A Ring of Endless Light (2002).
In addition to her acting pursuits, Scarlett has her own fan-run chat club on Yahoo and is the subject of several fan websites. She is known for responding to fan mail and cherishes the opportunity to connect with her devoted fan base.
Pomers' breakout role came when she starred as Reba McEntire's youngest daughter Kyra on the WB Network's comedy hit Reba (2001). Prior to this, she had a recurring role as Abigail Leski on CBS' critically-acclaimed show, That's Life (2000),and played Naomi Wildman on Star Trek: Voyager (1995) for three years.
