Schuyler Fisk, a talented actress and singer-songwriter, is the daughter of Academy Award-winning actress Sissy Spacek and production designer Jack Fisk. The couple met on the set of the 1973 film Badlands, where Spacek starred and Fisk served as the art director. Although Schuyler was born in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in Virginia, where her parents established their home.
Fisk's early interest in acting led her to participate in school plays, and she eventually followed in her mother's footsteps to become an actress. In addition to her acting career, Schuyler is also a singer-songwriter, signed to Universal Records. Her song "Paperweight" was featured on the soundtrack of the 2006 film The Last Kiss, and Universal Records plans to release an album of her folk music in 2007.
