Prior to his feature film endeavors, Day made his mark with a series of innovative short films, including the documentary short Transition (2014),which showcased his ability to craft compelling narratives, and the animated sci-fi comedy short film Everyone's a Robot (2019),a testament to his versatility as a writer.
In 2023, Day's creative vision culminated in the mystery comedy feature film Wanda and Sully, which premiered on Australian television network Channel 9 and was subsequently acquired by Bounty Films in 2024.
