Biography

Scott M. Schewe, also known as Schewe, was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Ronald and Linda Schewe, where they resided for a brief six months before relocating to El Salvador for nearly three years. This formative period allowed Schewe to develop his first language, Spanish. The Schewe family subsequently moved to Chicago, where Schewe spent his formative years until the 9th grade, when they made the decision to relocate to Honolulu, Hawaii, where they currently reside.

Schewe attended McKinley High School, excelling as a three-sport athlete. He then pursued a background in Business Finance at The University of Hawaii. Additionally, Schewe began studying acting at Scott Rogers Studios in Honolulu and has attended numerous classes and workshops under the guidance of renowned instructors, including Keo Woolford, Guy Camilleri, Margaret Doversola, and Sherrie Robertson.

Schewe's early foray into acting was as an extra on season 3 of Hawaii 5-0. His breakthrough role came in the U.H. ACM student film "Bicycle," in which he played the role of "Paul," an abusive father of two daughters. The film received six ACM award nominations and won the award for Best Director. "Bicycle" was also entered into the Hawaii International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Eurocinema award for Best Hawaii Student Film.

Since then, Schewe has portrayed a diverse range of characters, appeared in two plays, four TV shows, multiple feature films, and numerous student films. Schewe is always seeking new opportunities to expand his repertoire of characters and has never turned down a role.

In his professional life, Schewe works as a travel agent by day in the family business, Schewe Travel Associates. He is a devoted husband to Tracy Schewe and a father to three children, Matthew, Tomoe, and Motomi. The entire Schewe family is athletic, multi-talented, and represented by Joy Kam of The Kathy Muller Talent and Modeling Agency on Oahu.

Although Schewe was born in Michigan and raised in El Salvador and Chicago, he has been a resident of Honolulu since 1983 and considers Hawaii his home. Schewe expresses his gratitude to his entire family for their unwavering love, support, and permission to pursue his dreams.
