Danny Cheng Wan-Cheung, professionally known as Scud Cheng, is a renowned Hong Kong director, whose life journey has been marked by significant transitions and a passion for creative expression. Born in Guangzhou, China, he relocated to Hong Kong at the tender age of 13, where he spent his formative years balancing part-time studies with other pursuits.
After completing his degree in computers from the Open University of Hong Kong, Cheng embarked on a 20-year career in the IT industry, working for a multinational corporation. This introspective period led him to make the bold decision to relocate to Australia, where he could recharge, re-evaluate, and re-chart his future.
Upon his return to Hong Kong, Cheng founded an independent film production company, Artwalker Limited, which has since become a hub for his creative endeavors. Collaborating with esteemed director Liu Guochang, he co-produced his debut film, "A City Without Wilderness".
