Sé Marie's journey in the film industry began with a film production degree in 2011, which paved the way for her to start her career as a stunt double for renowned actresses Rachel McAdams and Vinessa Shaw. She eventually transitioned into acting full-time in 2014, leading several feature films to prestigious film festivals.
One of her notable achievements includes starring in the first ever Virtual Reality feature film "Career Opportunities in Organized Crime", which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2016. She also appeared in "Careful Not to Cry", which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017.
In 2020, Sé made her mark in the world of live theatre by starring in a live Zoom play titled "Water Child", which featured an international cast and received critical acclaim as the first ever live Zoom theatre production. The same year, she produced, directed, and starred in an original web series titled "A Very Covid Christmas", which earned her three 2021 Telly Awards for Best Remote Production in the categories of Actor, Director, and Producer.
Sé's recent projects include playing Susan in the comedy feature film "Movers Ultimate", which premiered on Amazon Prime and Tubi in 2022. She can also be seen in the upcoming feature film "Unsinkable", a historical drama about the aftermath of the Titanic, and the sci-fi short film "Artificial Existence", in which she plays the lead role of Evelyn. The latter has already won over 20 international festival awards and is set to be released to the public soon.
Sé has also recently wrapped productions on "NWL", "The Doll House", and "Riverside Park", which was produced by the George A. Romero Foundation and is slated to premiere at the Salem Film Festival in April 2023.
In addition to her impressive filmography, Sé Marie is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA),Women in Film, and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). She is also a member of the Telly Awards Judging Council and studies with The Markland Studio in Los Angeles.
