Sean Ferrer is a renowned filmmaker with a career spanning 40 years, encompassing various aspects of motion picture development, production, post-production, and marketing. After taking a sabbatical to establish a series of charities in honor of his mother's humanitarian legacy, Sean directed and produced the one-man feature documentary "Racehoss" (2001),which is based on the biography by Albert Race Sample.
Sean's extensive filmography includes serving as executive producer for the award-winning Australian mini-series "Cloudstreet" (2011),based on the bestselling novel by Tim Winton, as well as the documentary "Living the Blues" (2010),which showcases the lives of blues musicians and singers.
Prior to his current endeavors, Sean produced the motion picture "Pretty Hattie's Baby" (1991),a critically acclaimed film set in the 1950s, which explores the complex relationship between an African American mother and her white adopted daughter. The film stars Alfre Woodard, Jill Clayburgh, Allison Elliot, Tess Harper, and Charles S. Dutton.
