With the guidance of her Jr. High teacher, Mr. Gleason, she auditioned for the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Performing Arts at Cal State University, where she had the opportunity to hone her vocal skills and perform in some of the most renowned venues in the city.
The following year, Seidy discovered her love for theater and acting at Hollywood High School of the Performing Arts. Her talent and dedication earned her a spot in the school's theater program, where she had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented artists in the industry.
At the age of seventeen, Seidy became a member of an educational theater troupe called "Project Able", which toured throughout California, teaching AIDS education to various audiences. This experience not only helped her develop her acting skills but also allowed her to make a positive impact on her community.
Seidy's big break came in 1993 when Alison Anders cast her as Mousie in the critically acclaimed film "Mi Vida Loca". Her portrayal of the character resonated with audiences and helped her gain recognition in the Latinx community. This role also marked the beginning of her collaboration with some of the most influential directors in the industry, including Quentin Tarantino, Joel Schumacher, and Antoine Fuqua.
