Sergey Kalantay, a celebrated actor of great renown, made his grand entrance into the world on the thirty-first day of May, nineteen hundred and sixty-four, in the culturally rich and vibrant metropolis of Kiev, which, at that time, was situated within the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, a constituent republic of the vast and powerful Soviet Union, a federal state that was a major player in international politics and a superpower during the Cold War era.
