Sergey Yuryevich Osipyan, a renowned Russian theater and film director, screenwriter, and producer, was born on September 15, 1966, in Moscow. He embarked on his illustrious career by graduating from the prestigious Higher Courses of Screenwriters and Directors in 1993, under the guidance of the renowned Alexander Kaidanovsky.

In 1994, Osipyan made his mark on the London stage by directing the play "White Nights" at the New End Theater, a production based on the timeless novel by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. This accomplishment was followed by his involvement in the film adaptation of the Lyon Opera's "In the First Circle" in 1996, a project based on the influential novel by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
