Sergey Vasiliev, a talented individual with a passion for filmmaking, embarked on a journey to hone his craft by attending Fridhems folkhögskola, where he studied the art of filmmaking and subsequently produced a short film titled "The Copy", which premiered at the prestigious Brest European Short Film Festival.
In addition to his filmmaking pursuits, Sergey also expanded his skills by studying screenwriting at the esteemed Broby Grafiska school and delving into the realm of film theory at Lund University, further solidifying his understanding of the medium.
Since 2012, Sergey has been an integral part of the thriving independent film scene in Malmö, Southern Sweden, where he has directed a multitude of short films and web series, showcasing his versatility and creativity as a filmmaker.
Moreover, since 2015, Sergey has been dedicated to bringing his feature film debut, PewPewPew, to life, a testament to his perseverance and commitment to his craft.
