Sergio Alejandro, a native of the East San Francisco Bay Area, specifically Union City, Decoto, California, is the youngest of three brothers. Despite being born in California, he has a profound affinity for his parents' roots, which also extend to Mexico, a country he considers a second home.
Sergio's formative years were marked by a passion for sports, as he excelled in four different disciplines during his junior high and high school years. These sports included wrestling, football, volleyball, and soccer, which ultimately became the foundation for his future endeavors.
Initially, Sergio considered a career in the military, with the intention of joining the Marines. However, football became his ticket to college, allowing him to pursue higher education. It was during this time that he discovered his true calling in soccer, which would ultimately propel him through college and beyond.
Sergio's dedication to soccer led him to achieve professional status in the sport, playing in the USL and training with MLS clubs. His hard work and perseverance paid off, as he successfully transitioned into the professional world of beach soccer, earning a three-year stint with the USA Men's National Beach Soccer team.
