Born in the Bay Area, Shelby Fero is a multifaceted creative force, residing in Los Angeles, California, where she has established herself as a writer, performer, and comedian of note.
As a high school student, Fero began her career by contributing to prominent humor websites, including Cracked.com, Funny or Die, and Rookie Magazine, concurrently amassing a substantial following of over 100,000 on her Twitter account.
Upon moving to Los Angeles the summer after graduating high school, Fero interned at Cracked and Funny or Die, before enrolling in the screenwriting program at the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, she continued to hone her writing and performance skills, ultimately deciding to leave her sophomore year of college to accept a staff writing position for a new FX television show.
Since then, Fero has made a name for herself by writing for and/or appearing in a wide range of television and live shows, including the Comedy Central series @Midnight, Adult Swim's Robot Chicken, and MTV's Girl Code. In addition to her professional pursuits, Fero is also a devoted sibling and pet parent, sharing her life with three siblings and two beloved dogs.
