Shon Edward Blotzer was born on August 28, 1983, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Mark and Janet Blotzer, and is the younger sibling to two older sisters, Kellie and Shannon.
As a young child, Shon displayed a remarkable talent for captivating audiences, which he honed through his performances in children's plays at church. This early aptitude for entertainment continued to blossom as he entered his teenage years, when he became a part of the ensemble group during high school. This group would go on to perform a range of notable productions, including Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Damn Yankees, and West Side Story.
As Shon grew older, he made the decision to relocate to Wilmington, North Carolina, and enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he pursued a dual degree in Marketing and Film Studies. It was during his time in Wilmington that Shon's life took an unexpected turn, as he was discovered by an agent while shopping downtown, who promptly signed him on the spot.
This chance encounter marked the beginning of Shon's professional acting career, which quickly gained momentum as he landed roles in several independent films. He also found himself auditioning for national television commercials, including prominent brands such as Target, Budweiser, and Dick's Sporting Goods.
