Additionally, he worked closely with the highly acclaimed and respected Jan Sverak as an assistant director on the esteemed Academy Award-winning film KOLJA, which was released in the year 1996.
In the year 2012, he embarked upon a most audacious and courageous endeavor, thereby establishing his very own production company, aptly named Tvorba films.
This pioneering venture, Tvorba films, was instrumental in bringing forth his debut feature film, HOME CARE, which was produced under the esteemed umbrella of his own company.
The screenplay for HOME CARE, a testament to his remarkable creative vision, garnered an award from the illustrious Film Foundation, a prestigious recognition that further solidified his reputation as a master of his craft.
HOME CARE made its grand debut at the renowned Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, a premier event that attracts the crème de la crème of the film industry.
At this esteemed festival, HOME CARE took home the coveted Best Actress Award, a fitting tribute to the remarkable talents of the gifted Alena Mihulova, whose performance was met with widespread critical acclaim.
