Initially, TNB began as a YouTube tutorial series, eventually evolving into a live talk-show and later, a TV series on DrinkTV. Her cooking production on Amazon Live has garnered widespread acclaim for being one of the most professional and entertaining shows on the platform.

Born in Banff, Alberta, Stacey is the daughter of Teresa, who owned a wine-making store, and Kurtis Roy, a power linesman technician. Throughout her childhood, she relocated frequently throughout Alberta. Her early life was marked by success in beauty pageants, as she was crowned Miss Teen Red Deer and Miss Teen Calgary.
After graduating from Strathmore High School, Stacey moved to Vancouver to pursue her passion for acting, enrolling in the renowned Vancouver Film School's "Acting in Film and Television" program.
Since completing her studies, Stacey has continued to work in various forms of media, including film, television, and the Internet. Her international recognition came when she cosplayed as Blizzard Entertainment's "Tracer" in her short film Overwatch Legacy.
Stacey is also the founder of her own production company, Whabam Media, which focuses on live broadcasts and television series, including The Nerdy Bartender (2014/2018) and Cooking with Stacey (2017).
