Stefania Spampinato, a talented and ambitious individual, was born in the vibrant city of Catania, Sicily, Italy, and grew up in the charming town of Belpasso, situated at the base of the majestic Etna Volcano.
Her love for the arts began at a tender age of six, and her mother, recognizing her passion, took it upon herself to create dance costumes for her daughter, allowing her to pursue her dream. With an undeniable talent and dedication, Stefania's early start in dance and theatre led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in performing arts from Milan.
Her successful career in dance and theatre spanned over a decade, taking her to various international locations such as Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Berlin, where she collaborated with renowned artists like Joaquin Cortez, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, The Voice UK, and X Factor US & UK.
In 2011, Stefania made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life. Since 2017, she has become a recurring cast member of the record-breaking ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy and one of the leads of its spin-off show Station 19, where she portrays the esteemed Dr. Carina Deluca.
