Stefany, a talented individual, was born and raised in the beautiful city of North Vancouver, British Columbia. She is the only daughter of the esteemed Squamish Nation hereditary Chief Joe Mathias and Janice Antoine, who serves as the principal of the Coldwater School in Merritt, British Columbia.
As a young child, Stefany's love for the arts was kindled by her mother, who took her to the theatre to watch children's performances, and her father, who exposed her to a wide range of movies. This early exposure not only nurtured her passion for acting but also encouraged her to explore her talents in singing, dance, and writing.
Stefany's academic pursuits led her to graduate from the University of British Columbia's theatre program, where she continued to hone her craft until she caught the attention of renowned producer Chris Haddock. He cast her in his critically acclaimed TV series "DaVinci's Inquest," where she played a recurring role. Her subsequent appearances in "Da Vinci City Hall," "The Collector," and several independent feature-length and short films further solidified her reputation as a talented actress.
In addition to her acting career, Stefany also attended the prestigious Vancouver Film School, where she studied film production and directing. This multifaceted approach to the entertainment industry has undoubtedly contributed to her success.
Today, Stefany splits her time between Los Angeles and British Columbia, allowing her to maintain a strong connection to her roots while pursuing her dreams in the entertainment capital of the world.
