Steve Austin, a renowned individual, was born in the month of May, 1963, in the picturesque city of Novato, California, to William and Gretchen Austin. His formative years were spent in Petaluma, California, where he received his high school diploma from Casa Grande High School in 1981. Following his academic pursuits, Austin took a significant career path by enlisting in the United States Air Force in August 1981. Throughout his remarkable military tenure, which spanned from August 1981 to May 2003, Austin served in various capacities, initially as a Security Forces member and later as a Training Systems Specialist. His unwavering dedication and exceptional performance earned him a prestigious promotion to the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7),ultimately culminating in his retirement from the United States Air Force in May 2003.
After completing his military service, Steve embarked on a professional journey, taking up a challenging role at Headquarters North American Aerospace Defense Command-United States Northern Command, a renowned defense contractor, from 2003 to 2010.
During this period, he honed his skills and gained valuable experience, before making the pivotal decision to transition to a government civilian job in 2010, a role he held until 2013.
In 2013, Steve made the courageous and ambitious decision to leave behind the security of his "day job" and pursue his long-held passion for acting. To further develop his craft, he embarked on an intense and comprehensive eight-year study of film acting under the guidance of the esteemed Paul Neal Rohrer.
Steve has accumulated an impressive array of acting credits, boasting an extensive portfolio that spans over 200 commercial and industrial projects, in addition to hundreds of voiceovers. Furthermore, he has had the privilege of serving as the arena announcer for the prestigious United States Air Force Academy's Men's and Women's basketball games, a position he held from 2001 to 2013.
Steve is presently engaged in a full-time capacity as an on-camera acting coach, actor, and voice talent, residing in the picturesque city of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He is a devoted husband to the lovely Dana Austin, whom he had the pleasure of meeting in the month of October 1983. Together, they have raised two accomplished adult children, Mark and Laura.
