Stephen Lee was born in Englewood, New Jersey, in the year 1955, marking the beginning of a life that would be shaped by his early years spent in Europe, where he resided for the first 15 years of his life.
Growing up in a family with a strong connection to the casino industry, Stephen's father was involved in the manufacturing and sales of slot machines, providing him with a unique insight into the world of entertainment.
Upon relocating to the United States in 1970, Stephen began pursuing his passion for acting, eventually securing a partial scholarship to Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri.
Throughout his illustrious career, Stephen has appeared in an impressive array of over 200 television shows, 5 television series, and more than 20 pilots. He has also had the opportunity to play a diverse range of roles in 39 movies, including notable films such as La Bamba (1987),WarGames (1983),Purple Hearts (1984),RoboCop 2 (1990),The Negotiator (1998),and Dolls (1987),among many others.
A polyglot, Stephen is fluent in four languages: English, German, French, and Spanish. When not acting, he enjoys engaging in various hobbies, including golf, tennis, horseback riding, and biking around his neighborhood in Sherman Oaks, California.
In recent years, Stephen has made notable guest appearances on popular television shows such as NCIS (2003),Fear Itself (2008),Boston Legal (2004),for which he received critical acclaim, Bones (2005),and 'Til Death (2006).
