Biography

Steve Bodow is the Executive Producer of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, a position he has held since 2015, following a 13-year tenure as an Executive Producer, Head Writer, and staff writer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, which began in 2002. During his time at the show, he has won an impressive 13 primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.

In addition to his work on the show, Steve co-wrote and co-edited two bestselling books, America: The Book (2004) and Earth: The Book (2010),both of which reached number one on the bestseller lists.

Before joining The Daily Show, Steve was a co-founder and former co-artistic director of the acclaimed New York theater company Elevator Repair Service. The company is renowned for its innovative productions, including the Obie-winning, marathon full-text staging of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, titled Gatz. Gatz was performed to sold-out and extended runs at the Public Theater in New York and has toured to over 20 cities internationally.

Steve is also a co-creator and Executive Producer of the game show Werewolf (pilot, Fox),as well as the co-creator and Executive Producer of the radio variety show "King's County" for WNYC. As a journalist and columnist, he has written for a wide range of publications, including the New York Times, Wired, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Spin, and Details.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Yale University and his master's degree in digital media from New York University. He currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.
