Steve Brand is a renowned film and television producer, renowned for his work on feature documentaries that have garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards.
His most notable project to date is the feature documentary "Kaddish", which delves into his personal experience of growing up as the child of a Holocaust survivor. The documentary was selected for the prestigious New Directors/New Films festival, won a Special Jury Award for Documentary at Sundance, and was named one of the 10 Best Films of its year by David Edelstein in the Village Voice. Additionally, the film's 4K Restoration had its World Premiere at the 2022 New York Jewish Film Festival.
Throughout his career, Steve has worked as a producer for various prominent organizations, including Now on PBS, MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, ABC News' 20/20, Downtown and Primetime Live, Religion & Ethics Newsweekly, and CBS News' Street Stories. His independent work has been showcased theatrically across the United States and abroad, as well as on home and web video.
