Steve, a renowned voice actor, was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, before relocating to Maine at the age of eleven. This move had a profound impact on his life, as he discovered his passion for theatre and music during his high school years at Lincoln Academy.
As an active member of Midcoast Maine's thriving arts community, Steve found himself immersed in a supportive environment that encouraged him to pursue his dreams. His talents were showcased in a one-man original show at the local community theater, which drew a standing-room-only crowd.
This success propelled Steve to further his education at The Hartt School in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2003. Following his graduation, Steve moved to New York City, where he worked a variety of odd jobs to make ends meet.
Despite the challenges, Steve was fortunate to work at some of the nation's top regional theaters, including the Hartford Stage Co., Milwaukee Rep, and Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. His Off-Broadway credits include appearances in The Burnt Part Boys at Playwrights Horizons and In Transit, an a cappella musical, at Primary Stages.
Steve's singing career also flourished as a member of Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV),the Tony Award-winning gospel choir founded by Michael McElroy. With BIV, Steve performed in Randy Newman's Faust at City Center and sang backup for Sting on the Tony Awards broadcast.
Currently, Steve is a full-time voice actor, having voiced hundreds of TV and radio commercials and worked in nearly every genre the VO world has to offer. His credits include being a game show announcer for ABC's Match Game, a global promo voice for The Mandalorian, and even the PSA voice of McGruff the Crime Dog.
Steve's versatility has also led him to work on various projects, including being the voice of the Unsolved Mysteries Podcast and a Daedric Prince of Destruction in Elder Scrolls Online. He lives in New York with his wife and son.
