Biography

Steve's illustrious film career spanning 35 years began as a Set Production Assistant on the acclaimed thriller Silence of the Lambs, and since then, he has remained an integral part of the film production industry.

Throughout his extensive career, Steve has demonstrated his versatility and expertise by serving as 1st Assistant Director on over two dozen feature films and numerous television series across the United States and abroad. Some of his notable credits include Watson, a television series; two seasons of American Rust, a television series; Anything's Possible, a feature film; Holiday Rush, a feature film; Fear The Walking Dead, a television series; Gone, a television series; Downward Dog, a television series; Outsiders, a television series; Concussion, a feature film; Foxcatcher, a feature film; Supah Ninjas!, a television series; Harodim, a film shot in Vienna; Dandelion, a feature film; Graduation, a feature film; Strange Girls, a feature film; On the Inside, a feature film; Riddle, a feature film; The Bread My Sweet, a feature film; Out of the Black, a feature film; and Mafia, a feature film, among many others.

In recent years, Steve has been increasingly involved in directing projects, including the short film Eulogies, the pilot Mares & Kaps, the television pilot Mulligan, the feature film The Chief, which won a Tapestry Award, and numerous other projects in various genres. His short films, such as Eulogies, Lightheaded, Breakage, Chloe, and Reign of the Dead, have been showcased at numerous film festivals and have garnered numerous awards. Additionally, Steve co-directed MTV's first short-form mini-series, I Remember Chloe, which was later developed into a feature-length film with the network's approval.

Steve has also directed countless narrative industrials, which have won the Cine Golden Eagle Award, and has worked on a wide range of projects, including instructional, comedy, drama, action, and horror genres.

In his personal life, Steve resides on the South Side of Pittsburgh with his wife of twenty-nine years, Anne, and their energetic cat, Strummer.
