Steve's martial arts journey began at the tender age of five, when he attended his first Karate class. However, his initial experience was not a memorable one, and he didn't return to the dojo until he was nine years old. This time, his motivation was different, as he was inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their impressive kicking skills.
Steve's second stint at Karate was at the Tom Bloom Karate in Thousand Oaks, California. He trained tirelessly, pushing his body to its limits, and only stopping to rest and refuel. Over the course of nine years, he dedicated himself to his craft, overcoming numerous challenges along the way.
In 1997, Steve's hard work paid off, as he earned his black belt in Tang Soo Do. He continued to progress, earning his second-degree black belt in 1999. Today, Steve is working towards his third-degree black belt and is also a certified Tang Soo Do instructor.
When he's not busy with his martial arts training, Steve enjoys a variety of hobbies, including Wu Shu and Tae Kwon Do, which he practices under the guidance of Master Simon Rhee. He's also an avid dancer, break-dancer, skier, roller-blader, and computer game enthusiast.
Steve's martial arts background has opened doors for him in the entertainment industry. He landed a role in the film Beverly Hills Ninja, and has since had the opportunity to work with other notable martial artists and stunt professionals, including Arnold Chon, Hiro Koda, and David Douglas, who have become close friends and mentors. As his career continues to grow, fans can expect to see more of Steve's impressive skills and talents in the years to come.
