Stewart Sparke is a multifaceted creative professional with a passion for crafting chilling horror feature films and interactive storytelling experiences. Following the completion of his Bachelor of Arts in Film & TV Production in 2010 and Master of Arts in Directing Film in 2012, he embarked on a freelance career in the UK film and television industry, contributing to notable projects such as the BBC's Blue Peter and the London 2012 Olympic Games.
During this period, Stewart also served as the head of live-action production at Glass Cannon, a production company specializing in educational video content for the UK Heritage sector. The company received a Royal Television Society Award nomination for its work on the WW1 short film series Loss & Legacy: The Tolson Story in 2013.
In 2015, Stewart co-founded Dark Rift Horror, a multimedia studio dedicated to creating relentlessly entertaining and immersive horror experiences. Since its inception, Dark Rift Horror has produced and sold two commercially successful feature films, The Creature Below (2016) and Book of Monsters (2018),both of which were produced and directed by Stewart himself. Currently, a third feature film, How to Kill Monsters, is in post-production, accompanied by a tie-in video game set for release in 2023.
