Sue Ann, a talented actress with a unique background, followed in the footsteps of numerous actors on the autism spectrum by finding humor in unconventional characters. Despite being kicked out of her first acting school, she persevered and landed her second audition while still an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Sue Ann's career in the entertainment industry began in 2004, when she started working as a Screen Actors Guild performer. She effortlessly took on straight-laced roles in commercials, while also collaborating with renowned directors and producers, including David Nutter, Lena Waithe, Tom Hooper, and Jason Katims, among others.
When not on set, Sue Ann indulges in her passion for rock climbing and space exploration, having visited every continent except Antarctica. She has also had the opportunity to present on climate change solutions to a Nobel Laureate and the U.S. Secretary of Energy, and has been featured internationally for her candidacy in the Mars One project.
Sue Ann is a multi-talented individual who enjoys writing, directing, and producing her own projects. Her second directorial debut was featured in The Advocate magazine for her cover of PJ Harvey's "Down By the Water" by The Secret Things band.
In her free time, Sue Ann is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, plays the bass guitar, and sings karaoke whenever possible, often doing so off-key.
