Richard "Rick" Allen, also professionally known as Sunny Beach, is a retired American professional wrestler and promoter with a storied career in the wrestling industry. He is perhaps most famously associated with his tenure in the Universal Wrestling Federation, where he formed a successful tag team known as Wet N' Wild alongside Steve Ray.
As the top "babyface" tag team in the promotion, Wet N' Wild engaged in a high-profile feud with Cactus Jack and Bob Orton, led by the enigmatic manager "Coach" John Tolos, which culminated in a thrilling match at the company's inaugural pay-per-view event, UWF Beach Brawl, in 1991. Allen's accomplishments also include holding the distinction of being the final UWF SportsChannel Television Champion before the promotion's eventual demise.
Prior to his stint in the Universal Wrestling Federation, Allen began his professional wrestling career in the World Wrestling Federation, where he was a featured preliminary wrestler from 1988 to 1992. Throughout his career, he has also had stints in other notable wrestling promotions, including the American Wrestling Federation, Global Wrestling Federation, International Championship Wrestling Alliance, International World Class Championship Wrestling, and Stampede Wrestling. Additionally, Allen has had the opportunity to compete overseas for All-Japan Pro Wrestling, The American Wrestling Federation, and World Wrestling's Stars.
