Her interest in media began in 2002 when she worked as a scriptwriter and presenter for a makeover program on WTK TV. This early exposure sparked a passion for storytelling, which she soon combined with her love of theatre and cinema. She began acting, appearing in TV series and feature films in Poland, including Pigs 2, The Legend, Operation: Sunrise, and more.
Sylwia's theatrical credits include productions such as Cosi fan Tutte, Wozzeck, and Ca Ira, which she performed in from 2005 to 2010. In 2012, she will star in the feature films Serbian After Hours River and another untitled project.
In 2007-2009, Sylwia was granted a scholarship by the Polish Film Institute to study drama at a London institution. During this time, she immersed herself in the city's vibrant art culture, which inspired her to explore writing and directing.
In the UK, Sylwia has appeared in films such as Night school, Wake up Jennifer, and Future Perfect. She has also co-written and co-directed a docu-drama, Heroin - my love, with S. Derwesinski.
In addition to her work in film, Sylwia has ventured into fine art, completing a film installation, Homo Geminus, in which she also starred. Her latest project is a short film, No Easy Way Out, which she wrote and directed.
