Taies Farzan was born in Tehran, Iran, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks. Her family's journey took them to Turkey, where they resided for a period, before eventually settling in Germany, a country renowned for its vibrant cultural scene and strong economic foundation.
Taies is a polyglot, fluent in Persian, Turkish, German, English, and Kurdish, a testament to her linguistic skills and adaptability. Her early foray into the world of performing arts began at the tender age of 14, when she took to the stage in Cologne, Germany, and went on to appear in leading roles in over 15 stage productions.
However, it was her encounter with the renowned filmmaker Daryush Shokof during a casting call for a film that shifted her focus from theater to the silver screen. This marked the beginning of a long and fruitful association with Shokof, with whom she co-produced two movies and starred in two of his films, "Tenussian Vacuvasco" and "Breathful", as the lead.
Taies is blessed with a loving family, comprising two sisters, Doris and Candice, and a mother, Farkhondeh, who all reside in Germany. Her father, a renowned Iranian actor, dubbing master, and film director, was a prominent figure in the Iranian film industry before the revolution, and her mother was a well-known radio personality and voice dub artist in the Iranian cinema before the revolution.
