Taïr Mamedov was born in the capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Baku. His father is an Azerbaijani, and his mother is Armenian. He began his career in KVN in 1998, playing for the KVN team "Children of Lumumba" (RUDN). Later, he played for the team RosNOU, which competed in the Premier League.
On April 23, 2005, he made his debut alongside Egor Alexeyev in the duo "Beatles" at the Comedy Club, at the invitation of Gari Martirosyan. Since the spring of 2006, after Egor's departure, he has been performing solo. His calling card at the Comedy Club was parodies of the "Maximum Program". In the autumn of 2008, he became the host of the program "13 malicious viewers". He was also a co-host of the program "King of the Ring".
In 2008, he was invited to participate in the reality show "Last Hero". He is the author of the script and an actor in the film "Very Russian Detective", produced by EGO Productions. He took part in the show "Two Stars" on the First Channel, paired with Julia Kovalchuk. In the autumn of 2009, he hosted the program "Truth Detector" on MTV Russia, together with Nikita Duvbanov.
From December 11, 2009, to May 22, 2010, he hosted the show "Deadly Evening". He is a host with Victoria Boneva on MTV's program "Love Machine" and "Love at First Sight" with Evgenia Bledans. Since 2010, he has been a creative producer at "Mastiff Productions".
