Tamara Knausz, a Hungarian-American actress and model, was born and raised in Gyor, Hungary. At the tender age of 16, her mother encouraged her to participate in the Elite's Look of the Year Modeling competition in Hungary, where she made it to the finals and secured a contract with Elite Modeling Agency.
In the summer of 1999, Tamara made the bold decision to emigrate to the United States. After spending a couple of years in San Francisco, she relocated to New York City and continued to hone her modeling skills. Her impressive portfolio boasts covers and editorials in esteemed publications such as Men's Fitness, Cosmopolitan, and Shape Magazine, as well as international print campaigns for renowned brands like Samsung, Bud Light, and Avon.
As Tamara's modeling career progressed, she began to contemplate her future and eventually discovered her true passion lay in acting. With this newfound awareness, she enrolled in acting classes and embarked on the arduous process of auditioning. She has had the privilege of studying with some of New York's most esteemed acting and speech coaches, including Ron Stetson from The Neighborhood Playhouse, The Sam Chwat Speech Center, Alice Spivak, Angela Pietropinto, Peter Miner, and Sheila Grey.
Tamara's tireless efforts and dedication ultimately paid off in 2007, when she landed a lead role in the feature film Able Danger. Following this accomplishment, she bid farewell to New York and made the move to Los Angeles, where she has since booked numerous national commercials, appeared as a model on NBC's hit game show Deal or No Deal, and had the honor of co-starring on TV shows such as The Mentalist and Two and a Half Men alongside Charlie Sheen.
