Tang Kei-Chan, a renowned figure born on February 17, 1912, in Nanhai, Guangdong, China, began his educational journey at Nanhai Middle School. After completing his studies, he joined the prestigious Yangcheng Music Society as a composer, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.

As the war subsided, Tang Kei-Chan ventured into broadcasting, working for Guangzhou Xinsheng Radio and Times Radio, where he honed his skills as a skilled communicator. In 1949, he made a significant career move by joining the esteemed Voice of Hong Kong Radio Station, specializing in humor and entertainment.

Tang Kei-Chan's remarkable talent and versatility as a performer earned him the nickname "The King of Comedy." He was known for his impressive range, effortlessly switching between eight different voices and captivating audiences with his radio dramas.

Tang Kei-Chan's legacy extended beyond his professional accomplishments. His third son, Deng Zhaohua, followed in his footsteps, becoming a prominent figure in the medical field as the head and chair professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the Li Ka-shing School of Medicine, University of Hong Kong.

In 1975, Tang Kei-Chan made the bold decision to immigrate to Canada, where he would later return to Hong Kong to make guest appearances in films. His remarkable journey came to a close on July 2, 1991, when he passed away in the United States, leaving behind a lasting impact on the world of entertainment and beyond.
