Tanjareen's journey in the world of acting commenced in elementary school, where she began taking acting classes that would eventually lead to her performing in several local stage plays. This early start in theatre continued throughout her junior high and high school years, with Lil TanJ remaining committed to her passion despite her parents' initial reservations.
However, Tanjareen's parents were adamant that she pursue a college degree before dedicating herself fully to her acting dreams. And so, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television and Film, which also provided her with valuable experience through an internship at Paramount Pictures.
During her time at Paramount, Tanjareen worked behind the scenes, gaining valuable industry insights and connections that would later benefit her career. These connections led to job offers for her in front of the camera, but they also created scheduling conflicts that eventually led to her resignation from her studio position after a few seasons.
Since then, Tanjareen has gone on to appear in numerous TV shows, music videos, feature films, and national commercials, solidifying her status as a talented and versatile actress. Additionally, she has also explored other creative avenues, including film production, radio personality work, and even boxing!
