Tanya Henley is a multifaceted entertainer residing in Los Angeles, with a diverse range of talents that include acting, comedy, writing, and producing.
During her formative years at the University of Toronto, Henley honed her craft by training with the esteemed The Second City Toronto.
In addition to her Toronto training, Henley furthered her education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, where she began to cultivate her passion for stand-up comedy.
Throughout her career, Henley has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most prestigious comedy clubs in both New York and Los Angeles, including Stand-up NY, The Comedy Store, and the Hollywood Improv.
In television and film, Henley has shared the screen with notable actors such as Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Gena Rowlands.
In 1996, Henley co-founded Tapas Films with filmmaker Paula Tiberius, a production company that has yielded several successful projects.
One notable project is the short film "Killing Time," which Henley co-wrote, starred in, and produced, and which has screened at various film festivals and been broadcast on television.
Another notable project is the short film "Busk," which Henley produced and which has also enjoyed success at film festivals and on television.
