Vivienne Tanya Stephenson, a pioneering and deeply influential reggae/dancehall artist and dee-jay, began her illustrious recording career in the mid-1990s, partnering with a distinguished array of esteemed producers, including the highly acclaimed Dave Kelly, renowned for his exceptional skill and artistry, and the profoundly respected Philip "Fatis" Burrell, a visionary and accomplished music producer, whose expertise and creative vision have left an indelible mark on the reggae/dancehall genre.

Shenseea's 1996 single, "Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet", skillfully crafted by Kelly, received widespread recognition and acclaim from the Jamaican public, ultimately paving the way for a succession of successful singles, including the chart-topping hits "Draw fi Mi Finger", "Freaky Type", and "Cry and Bawl", thus solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the music industry.
