Tariq has had a prolific career in television, with numerous roles in prime-time shows, as well as a wide range of commercial voice-overs, including the iconic Little Caesar's Pizza campaign.
His extensive experience in animated shows includes notable titles such as My Little Pony, The Hollow, Monster Beach, and Polly Pocket, showcasing his versatility and range as a voice actor.
In addition to his television work, Tariq has also honed his skills in major repertory theaters in Canada and the UK, performing in a diverse range of productions, from Shakespearean classics to modern works.
Tariq's formal training at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) has been instrumental in shaping his craft, with notable instructors including Rodney Cottier, John Bashford, Penny Cherns, and the late Pamela Barnard.
Throughout his career, Tariq has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of talented individuals, including directors Sarah Wayne Callies, Stephen Surjik, Mairzee Almas, and Wayne Yip, as well as actors Katie Sackoff, Stephen Amell, Henry Woolf, Samuel Barnett, Christopher Newton, Dennis Garnhum, and the late Neil Munro.
Recent credits include voice-overs for Little Caesar's Pizza, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Another Life, and Unspeakable, as well as stage roles in productions such as Mrs. Warren's Profession, Born Yesterday, and Master Class.
Tariq currently resides in Vancouver, where he enjoys spending his free time outdoors, pursuing his passion for light carpentry, and working on two screenplays that have been on his "bucket list" for some time, including an adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, which he hopes to produce and direct.
