Person Biography:
Tariq Nasheed, also known as "Tariq Elite", "King Flex", or "K-Flex", is a multifaceted individual born on July 1st in Detroit, Michigan. He is an accomplished author, actor, fashion designer, and producer. His most notable work is the New York Times bestseller, "The Art of Mackin".
Early Life:
Tariq moved to Birmingham, Alabama at a young age, where he felt the social scene was slow-paced and boring. At the age of 17, he scraped together $125 and left Birmingham for Los Angeles, California. This marked the beginning of his travels around the world, where he studied different cultures and customs, observing how people interacted in relationships. He combined his learnings from street hustlers, psychology books, and international interactions to develop his own dating techniques, which he called "G.I.C.2" (game, intelligence, and common sense, squared).
Career:
Tariq became a "game advisor" and taught his G.I.C.2 techniques to men and women on the Los Angeles underground scene. In 1999, he wrote "The Art of Mackin," which sold over 250,000 copies and laid the foundation for the modern seduction industry. He has since written several books, including "Play Or Be Played" (Simon & Schuster) and "The Mack Within" (Penguin),as well as the controversial "The Art of Gold Digging". His upcoming book, "The Elite Way: 10 Rules Men Must Know In Order To Deal With Women", is set to be released in December 2009.

Tariq has made appearances on various TV shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, MTV Made, and several shows on VH1 and BET.
Lectures and Seminars:
Tariq now conducts sold-out lectures and seminars around the country. He has also released an instructional DVD called "Mack Lessons" and hosts a popular podcast, "The Mack Lessons Radio Show", which has over 100,000 listeners.
Business Ventures:
Tariq is set to launch a designer cologne line called "Risqué Elite" and a line of designer sunglasses called "Tariq Elite".
