Taylor Baugh, also known as Mary Elizabeth Baugh, embarked on her performing journey at the tender age of 10, joining the esteemed professional children's choir, the Carillon Choristers.
As a member of this prestigious group, she had the opportunity to perform for a diverse range of audiences, including royalty, celebrities, charities, and special events, as well as recording with the choir. Her impressive repertoire included being the first American choir to place at the International Musical Eistedfod in Llangollen, Wales, performing Gershwin with the Minnesota Orchestra, and even singing on jingles and acting in her first commercial.
As she entered her high school years, Taylor continued to hone her craft under the guidance of Sally Bublitz, playing Tessie Hutchison in the chilling short play, "The Lottey," Minnie Faye in "The Matchmaker," and Fred the Princess in the musical, "Once Upon a Mattress."
Taylor's academic pursuits took her to Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota, where she had the privilege of studying with award-winning directors, actors, and news journalists.
Upon graduation, Taylor's passion for acting led her to work with theatre and summer stock companies in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota, ultimately leading her to professional theatre in the Twin Cities and later to Chicago.
She performed with notable ensembles such as Second City, The Organic Theatre, The Factory Theatre, The Bailiwick, and Stage Left, amassing four years of solid theatre experience before making the move to Los Angeles.
In a new chapter of her life, Taylor adopted the name June Taylor in honor of her beloved Grandma June and now resides in Los Angeles, where she pursues a career in television and film after a recent 18-month stay in New York City.
