As a child, I discovered my passion for acting when I landed the lead role in a local play, sparking a fire that would burn bright for years to come. Just over a year later, I was thrilled to book the lead role of Lava Girl in the Robert Rodriguez film The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl (2005),an experience that cemented my love for character creation.
However, as fate would have it, I underwent a significant growth spurt at the age of 13, causing me to look like an 18-year-old. Despite this, I continued to pursue my acting career, only to face the harsh reality that my age and essence were no longer fitting for certain roles.
Feeling discouraged, I decided to take a break from acting and focus on my personal growth. I enrolled in college, pursuing a degree in Psychology, which allowed me to delve deeper into the human psyche and understand what makes people tick.
During my time away from acting, I took the opportunity to focus on myself, seeking to experience life beyond the confines of child stardom. I wanted to explore, learn, and grow as a person, and in doing so, I discovered a newfound appreciation for the world and its many wonders.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I took the time to attend various acting schools and classes, seeking to hone my craft and explore different techniques. I was fortunate enough to work with renowned instructors such as Lee Strasberg, Ivana Chubbuck, Leigh Kilton Smith, and Cameron Thor, each of whom helped me develop my skills and find my unique voice as an actress.
After several years away from the acting world, I have returned with a renewed sense of purpose and passion. I am excited to re-ignite my career, armed with a newfound understanding of myself and my craft. I am ready to take on new challenges, work with talented individuals, and bring characters to life in a way that is authentic and meaningful.
