Taylour Paige, a talented individual, was born and raised in the city of Inglewood, California. From a young age, she began her journey in the world of dance, training at the renowned Westside Ballet Academy. She spent two summers honing her craft at the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC.
In 2001, Paige became a student of the accomplished choreographer, director, executive producer, and actress, Debbie Allen. That same year, she landed a role in Debbie Allen's production of PEARL, and went on to participate in every musical with the Academy from 2001 to 2009.
Currently, Paige can be seen starring in the film ZOLA, released by A24. This fall, she will appear in the highly anticipated Netflix production, MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM, followed by a starring role in Eddie Huang's BOOGIE.
Paige is recognized for her outstanding performances in the SXSW film JEAN OF THE JONESES, directed by Stella Meghie, which received praise from THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER and the LA Times. Additionally, she is notable for her portrayal of "Cathy Volsan-Curry" in SONY'S WHITE BOY RICK, directed by Yann Demange.
