Sod, a multifaceted individual, was born on May 12, 1951, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. As an American actor, writer, teacher, director, and dramaturge, he has accumulated an impressive array of credits in theater, film, and television.
As a dramaturge, Sod has been a valuable asset to the education department at The Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City since 2001. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, The Dramatists Guild, and SD&C.
Sod has demonstrated his versatility as a director, helming productions such as "How to Be a Good Italian Daughter in Spite of Myself" at the Cherry Lane Theatre, "Blood Type: Ragu" at Actors' Playhouse, and "By Jupiter" at the York Theatre Company. His credits also include numerous productions at the George Street Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and touring productions.
As a writer, Sod has penned several notable works, including "The Cousins Grimm," which premiered at The Bailiwick Rep in Chicago and received readings at the New York Music Festival, York Theatre, and Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center.
