Teli's creative journey began at a remarkably young age, with storytelling being a cherished pastime since before the age of five. As a child, he would ingeniously utilize his toys to bring his imaginative stories to life, showcasing an early aptitude for creative expression.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan, until the age of twelve, Teli's life took a significant turn when his father was called upon to assist with a business expansion in Bangkok, Thailand. The family relocated to their new home in Thailand, marking a pivotal moment in Teli's life.
Following the conclusion of high school, Teli made the decision to continue his education and career path abroad. He arrived in Los Angeles, where he pursued his studies and career goals in the field of molecular biology.
However, one evening, after watching an independent film, Teli was profoundly inspired to make a life-changing decision. He took a courageous leap of faith and set aside his ambition to become a scientist, opting instead to follow his true passion for filmmaking and story writing.
As he progressed toward completing his intended degree, Teli dedicated himself to honing his craft, pouring every spare moment into discovering the fundamentals of cinema. He eventually established From The Earth (FTE) Productions in 2009, an independent film production company that allowed him to write, direct, and produce films alongside a group of like-minded friends.
Teli's exposure to various cultures has had a significant influence on his work, which is abundantly reflected in his two feature films. He is committed to introducing diversity into all aspects of FTE's productions, which have included commercials, music videos, and short films.
Teli's ultimate goal is to perfect his craft and serve as a role model for others. His message is one of self-trust and perseverance, encouraging individuals to pursue their dreams without hesitation.
