Terence Donovan, a renowned and trailblazing English fashion photographer of the 1960s, and a director, left an indelible mark on the world of visual storytelling. Throughout his illustrious career, he captured the essence of over 3000 commercials, as well as documentaries and music videos, including the iconic Robert Palmer's Addicted To Love. His work transcended genres, showcasing his versatility and artistic range.

Beyond his photography, Donovan ventured into filmmaking, directing the 1973 feature film Yellow Dog, starring the talented Jiro Tamiya. This lesser-known work showcased his ability to adapt to different mediums and push the boundaries of storytelling.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Donovan was a black belt in Judo, and he shared his expertise by writing the 1985 book Fighting Judo. This book served as a testament to his dedication to the martial art and his desire to share his knowledge with others.

Tragically, Terence Donovan's life was cut short when he took his own life in 1996. He left behind a loving wife, Diana, and two children who would go on to make significant contributions to their respective fields. His daughter, Daisy Donovan, is a talented actress and presenter, while his son, Terry Donovan, co-founded the renowned video game development company Rockstar Games.
