Terry Bowden, a Mississippi native, was born in the 1960s and spent his formative years in rural Arkansas. His outgoing and comical personality made him a crowd-pleaser, earning him the titles of "Most Dependable" and "Wittiest" in high school, as well as the presidency of the Student Council.
After attending Arkansas State University, where he initially majored in Chemical Engineering before transferring to Radio/TV, Bowden began his career in the entertainment industry at a young age. At 16, he became an air personality at a local radio station, and by 19, he had risen to the position of Intern Manager. This early experience honed his managerial skills, which he would later utilize in his various business ventures.
Throughout his life, Bowden has had a diverse array of careers, including managing national retail and restaurant chain outlets such as Musicland, Kinney Shoes, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Dicks Sporting Goods, Maxway, Golden Corral, Dodges Chicken, and FootAction USA. He has also worked as an undercover agent for Pinkerton's Detective Agency, a grocery store re-setter, a waiter, a machine operator, a journeyman construction worker, a play-by-play sports announcer, a PA announcer at football and basketball games, a head hunter, insurance salesman, IT professional, website builder, ASU game-room manager, auto parts delivery driver, liquor store clerk, TV station cameraman, newspaper manager, radio station manager, heat and air serviceman, and even owned a computer store.
In addition to his business pursuits, Bowden has also explored his creative side through acting. He began taking classes at Red West's Acting Classes in Memphis, Tennessee, and made his national television debut in the short-run Showtime series "Going to California." He continues to work hard, not only as an actor but also as a writer and producer.
