Terry Dale Parks, a talented film and television actor, hails from Southern Oklahoma, where he currently resides on the family ranch that has been in his family since the early 1930s. The ranch, which has been farmed and raised cattle and horses for over 80 years, holds a special place in his heart, as it is where his grandfather originally purchased the property.

Parks' love for acting began in his childhood, when he relied on his imagination and favorite TV shows, such as The Carol Burnett Show and Andy Griffith, for entertainment. In the sixth grade, he discovered his school's speech and oral interpretation team, which sparked his passion for acting. He went on to compete on the national level, placing third in Humorous Interpretation at the National Forensic League's National Tournament in 1989.
After college, Parks continued to pursue his acting dreams, moving to Los Angeles and eventually inheriting the family ranch. He eventually returned to the ranch, where he worked with animals and started an oil and gas business. However, his love for acting eventually pulled him back to the entertainment industry.
Today, Parks splits his time between his film and television work in LA and New Orleans, and his life on the ranch in Oklahoma, where he resides with his wife, Amber, their 16-month-old son, Coy, and their pets, Leo, Lilly, and Pearl.
